Justin Calvert, Technical Sales Engineer, to Speak at European Petroleum GIS Conference
New Century Software’s Justin Calvert joins the line up of speakers at the 2015 Esri European Petroleum GIS Conference in London, November 5-6, 2015.
Justin will be presenting, Leveraging the ESRI Platform for Automating Survey Data Validation & Reporting, which describes how operators can use ESRI technology and a repeatable process to realize significant cost savings during new construction and as-built projects.
Justin’s presentation takes a look at why processing field-collected data in a timely manner is an ongoing challenge for pipeline operators. It illustrates the issues typically seen with manual data validation which more often than not identifies errors long after a surveyor has left the field, if identified at all.
He’ll describe how utilizing python geoprocessing tools can simplify managing submitted data and automated spatial validation. Leveraging ArcGIS online, operators can identify and resolve errors quickly – improving accuracy and accelerating data collection to loading.
In addition to his presentation, Justin will also be a panelist during the Pipeline Data Model Discussion aimed at answering questions operators have on new and existing models. Justin can also be found in the Technical Showcase on Friday, November 6 to share demonstrations of New Century applications.
