New Century Software’s Justin Calvert and Robin Magelky to Speak at Esri UC

New Century’s Justin Calvert, Technical Product Manager, and Integrity Plus’s Robin Magelky, Senior Director Integrity Management, will be speaking at the Esri User Conference in San Diego, CA on June 29, 2016.

Justin and Robin will be presenting on Visualizing DIMP Results with Operations Dashboard. They will discuss how the Esri Operations Dashboard can help improve how operators visualize and utilize risk results used to meet PHMSA Gas Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP) requirements. Don’t miss the presentation on Wednesday June 29 at 8:30-9:45am in Room 24 A.

New Century Software's Phil Tisovec to Present at NACE Intermountain Sectional Meeting

Phil Tisovec, Technical Sales Manager for New Century Software, will be presenting at the NACE Intermountain Sectional Meeting. The meeting will be held Wednesday, June 22nd at the Questar Gas offices in Salt Lake City, UT. The NACE Intermountain Sectional Meeting hosts industry representatives from DOT to water to manufacturers, to keep every piece of the industry in the know about the effects of corrosion and its mitigation.

With his extensive background in the industry as a pipeline integrity professional with firsthand knowledge of in-line inspection (ILI), field investigation, and data analysis, Phil has been asked to present on the ILI basics. Phil's presentation will include the different types of ILI tools and inspections and their purpose, as well as the ILI data analysis and reporting process.

New Century Software’s Justin Calvert to Present at San Antonio PUG

Next week, Justin Calvert, Technical Product Manager for New Century Software, will be speaking at the San Antonio PUG local chapter meeting. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 31st at 4pm at the Valero Offices located at 1 Valero Way San Antonio, TX. After the presentation, New Century will be sponsoring a social event at Stone Werks Big Rock Grill at the Rim (click here for directions).

Justin’s presentation will focus on leveraging the Esri platform to meet operator needs. He will showcase how operators can better integrate their data and systems using Esri technology and illustrate how the GIS department can more effectively communicate with stakeholders organization-wide.

Justin will also be presenting on utilizing Esri technology to support distribution integrity management programs later this year at the Esri UC in San Diego, CA.

New Century to Host Client Conference Backyard Series

This year New Century Software will be changing up how the annual Client Conference is presented by splitting the conference into three backyard series events. The Backyard Series will “take the conference to the clients” in Denver, Houston and Oklahoma.

The first conference of the series will take place in Denver on May 17, 2016. This one-day event will be held at Top Golf’s conference center and feature software solution roadmaps,  workflows for pipeline data and integrity management, and demonstrations of our newest software releases.

Industry-leading alignment sheet generator duo, SheetCutter & TemplateDesigner, offers enhanced data model support and improved reporting.

New Century to Present with Chesapeake Energy at Esri PUG!

New Century Software will be partnering with Chesapeake Energy's Graham Glaser and Brett Kronick to present at the annual Esri Petroleum GIS Conference in Houston, TX April 26-28, 2016. Other members of the New Century team will be in attendance offering on-site demos and discussing our industry leading products and services at booth #315.

Graham and Brett will be presenting on Integrating Pipeline GIS and SAP EAM Linear Asset Management on Wednesday, April 27th from 3:30-5:00pm. They will discuss the process taken to integrate the SAP's EAM Linear Asset Management tool with an Esri-based PODS implementation including, user case development, data requirements, and key links between the systems.

New Century President, Ron Brush, Elected to PODS Board of Directors

New Century is pleased to announce that Ron Brush, New Century Software President, has been elected to the PODS Board of Directors. New Century Software and Ron Brush have been members of the PODS Association since its initiation, contributing to PODS Data Model enhancements and providing GIS-enabled software PODS solutions to the oil and gas pipeline industry. Ron has served as a Board Member, Secretary, and Technical Committee Liaison for the PODS Association in the past. He brings over twenty-two years of oil and gas industry experience, and eighteen years of PODS model expertise to help support the PODS Association and their activities as a Board of Directors member.

New Century Software Acquires Vantis Solutions

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (March 31, 2016) - New Century Software, Inc. (New Century), a leading provider of integrity management pipeline software and services, has acquired the Utah-based ILI data management firm, Vantis Solutions, and appointed its co-founder, Phil Tisovec, as a Technical Sales Manager at New Century Software.

“As a leader in pipeline data management, New Century has taken an opportunity to better serve our clients who work with corrosion and ILI data,” says Ron Brush, President of New Century. “Acquiring Vantis Solutions allows us to gain the subject matter expertise and technology necessary to better analyze ILI data and guide pipeline operators to better business decisions.”

Vantis Solutions specialized in pipeline data management, analysis, and new technology development. It focused primarily on ILI data, corrosion, GIS, and field investigation by offering applications, training, and subject matter expertise to operators. Additionally, co-founder of Vantis Solutions, Phil Tisovec, has joined the New Century Software team as a Technical Sales Manager. Tisovec will guide the strategy and growth plan for the ILI data management applications and services currently offered by New Century Software, including integrating the Vantis Solutions’ software in to the suite. Tisovec offers fifteen years of experience in the pipeline data management industry and brings extensive knowledge and expertise regarding corrosion growth analysis, ILI data analysis, and field inspection protocol.

David Mangold and Ryan Huntley to Speak at Pipeline Pigging and Integrity Management Conference

Integrity Plus’s David Mangold and Ryan Huntley join the lineup of speakers at the 2016 Pipeline Pigging and Integrity Management Conference in Houston, TX, February 8th-11th, 2016.

David and Ryan will be presenting, Estimating the Consequences of Pipeline Failures: A Modern Approach, to inform attendees about a modern approach to estimating the consequences of pipeline failures which directly supports the risk management of gas and hazardous liquid pipeline systems.

David and Ryan will discuss advanced methodologies which provide a framework for the evaluation of consequence scenarios. They will explore how advancements in spatial processing, computational technologies, and data collection across industries have provided useful supporting resources. They will also give examples of the approach through the integration and application of methodologies and resources.
